How to Login
Blackboard is configured to use your JU username and password. This is the password that students and instructors use to login to: WebAdvisor, Jacksonville University computers, e-mail and many more systems on campus.Accounts & Enrollment
Accounts are automatically created once a student registers for at least one class for the upcoming semester. If the student does not register for an upcoming semester, the account will automatically be disabled until the student registers.Please allow at least two days after registering for Blackboard to add the courses to the course list.
FIREFOX & BLACKBOARD
The Jacksonville University Information Technology department suggests that users always use Internet Explorer or Safari when connected to blackboard.ju.edu.
E-MAIL ISSUES
All students
need to check their JUNK MAIL
in their Microsoft
Live E-mail account
while taking
classes. Many
e-mails that are
coming from
Blackboard are being
tagged by Microsoft
as spam and end up
in this folder. To
correct this issue please go to
the
KNOWN ISSUES section and
follow the link that says
"Students do not receive e-mails
from instructors".This problem is due to Blackboard being hosted offsite and e-mails are not being delivered through our trusted mail servers.
